Siân has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Chief Executive Officer at Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care starting from 2023, Chairman of the Board at Achieving for Children from 2020, and CEO at Haven House Children's Hospice from 2021 to 2023. Siân also has experience as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Interim Executive Chair at Achieving for Children. Siân Wicks has founded Integrated Governance Solutions (IGS) LTD, where they worked as a Founding Director/Executive Nurse, providing expert advice in corporate governance, patient safety, risk management, and more. Siân has also served in various roles at The Huntercombe Group, Care Visions Group, and Advent International, contributing their expertise to the health and social care industry.

Siân Wicks LLM RGN (She/Her) has a diverse education history in the field of medical law and nursing. Siân pursued a LLM degree in Medical Law & Legal Practice from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, graduating in 2007. Prior to this, they obtained a Diploma in Clinical Risk Management from Capsticks Solicitors between 2003 and 2004. Siân also holds a Diploma in WNB Genetic Nursing from University Hospital Wales, which they completed in 1995. In 1990, they completed a program on Intensive Care of the newborn (ENB 405) from University College London hospital. Siân's nursing journey began with a degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Westminster Hospital London in 1987, and they continued their nursing education at the Wolfson School of Nursing Westminster, where they pursued further studies in Registered Nursing.
