Cara Jones

Cara Jones possesses extensive experience in social work and child protection, currently serving as an Independent Reviewing Officer and Child Protection Chair at Wokingham Borough Council since June 2020. Previously held roles include Assistant Team Manager at Brighter Futures for Children and Consultant Practitioner at Bracknell Forest Council, where statutory social work focused on the Under 11s and Children's Specialist Support Team. Cara's career began as a Step Up to Social Work Student and Personal Facilitator at the University of Oxford, and included positions as a Research Assistant at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust and Assistant Psychologist at Broadmoor Hospital. Academically, Cara holds a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from the University of Portsmouth and a PG Diploma in Social Work from Buckinghamshire New University, among other qualifications.
