Pauline Jorgensen

Pauline Jorgensen is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in local government and the aviation industry. Currently serving as the Leader of the Conservative group and Shadow Leader of the Council at Wokingham Borough Council since May 2008, Pauline's roles have included being a Borough Councillor, Executive Member for Highways and Transport, Executive Member for Housing, and Executive Member for Residents Services. Prior to this, Pauline held significant positions at British Airways from 1983 to 2022, such as Head of Business Efficiency and CISO, where notable achievements included leading efficiency programs that produced substantial cost savings. Additionally, Pauline has served as a Councillor and Mayor for Earley Town Council and held various roles within the Conservative Party as a parliamentary candidate, demonstrating a strong commitment to public service and community development. Pauline holds an MBA and DBA from Lancaster University and a BSC in Zoology from the University of Dundee.
