Jo Ann Kittrell

Jo Ann Kittrell has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Jo Ann started their career as a Staff Accountant at Sentara Healthcare in 1999, where they prepared financial statements and assisted in the monthly close of internal financial statements. In 2001, they became a Senior Accountant at the same company and was responsible for preparing financial statements and settling inter-company payables/receivables.

In 2004, Kittrell joined Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters as an Accounting Supervisor, where they provided oversight, guidance, and supervision to staff members and managed physician practice management accounting. Jo Ann later became the Budget Manager before being promoted to Director, Physician Practice Management. In this role, they were responsible for the overall operation and direction of nine departments, including developing processes and policies to ensure quality of service and budgetary compliance. Jo Ann held this position until 2011 when they became the Director of Financial Analysis.

In 2012, Kittrell joined Wolcott Rivers Gates as the Finance Director.

Jo Ann Kittrell pursued their education in Business Administration - Accounting from 1989 to 1998 at Old Dominion University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.
