Munit Mesfin

Munit Mesfin is an accomplished arts and youth program professional with a diverse background in project management and creative direction. Currently serving as Project Director at CARPE DIEM ARTS INC, Munit oversees the Jump Start with the Arts program, aimed at fostering healthy social and cognitive development in early childhood through arts enrichment. Munit also holds positions as Youth Program Coordinator at the Ethiopian Community Center, Teaching Artist at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, and Master of Ceremonies since 2012. Previously, Munit was the Music Creative Director and Performance Coach at Girl Effect, where responsibilities included auditioning talent and managing music production for an innovative radio drama in Ethiopia. Munit earned a BA in Economics and Government from Smith College.
