Wolfson Children's Hospital
Kara Williams, CCLS, CTRS, is a Certified Child Life Specialist currently working at Wolfson Children's Hospital since March 2022, where responsibilities include providing psychosocial support and family-centered care to pediatric patients and their families. Previous experiences include a child life internship at Baystate Health, where Kara gained extensive clinical experience, and various roles in educational and therapeutic settings, such as a Teacher Assistant at Good Shepherd Day School and a Recreational Therapy Intern at Camp Twin Lakes. Additionally, Kara has contributed to community initiatives through a role as a Community Ambassador for The Boon Project, aiming to support young adult cancer fighters. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Clemson University and has completed an extension in Child Life at the University of California Santa Barbara.
