Carlie Ewen

Carlie Ewen, MSW, currently serves as a Senior Analyst for Culture and Community at Wolfspeed since September 2022, previously holding the position of HR Solutions Specialist. Prior to this role, Carlie dedicated nearly a decade to Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools as a School Social Worker, where recognition as Exceptional Children/Support Staff Person of the Year occurred four times, along with holding Advanced School Social Work Licensure. Earlier experience includes working as a School Social Worker at National Heritage Academies, helping students and families overcome barriers to success, and a Research Assistant for a distinguished professor during graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Carlie's career began in education as a High School English Teacher with Teach For America, achieving notable outcomes in student writing proficiency. Carlie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Women's Studies, graduating summa cum laude from DePauw University, as well as a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
