Joanna Shipley

Joanna Shipley is an experienced professional in learning and development, currently serving as Apprenticeship Manager at Wolseley Group since February 2017. In this role, Joanna has led the development strategy for the central regional operation, collaborating with regional leaders to address specific training needs through various initiatives, including product knowledge and management development. Prior to this position, Joanna held several roles at Halfords, including Apprenticeship Assessor and HR Assistant, where responsibilities ranged from assessing qualifications in Retail and Warehousing to managing HR administrative tasks. Joanna also spent time as an English Language Teacher in Thailand, teaching young children during a career break. Educational background includes studies in Geography, Business, Performing Arts, and other subjects at Arrow Vale Sixth Form and Arrow Vale High School.
