Jun Tomioka

Jun Tomioka is a Senior Software Engineer currently at Wolt since September 2022, having transitioned from DoorDash following its acquisition of Wolt. In this role, Jun serves as the tech lead for a product team in Japan and has designed and implemented the backend architecture for a new system. Previous experience includes a similar position at DoorDash, where localization features were developed, and at Amazon Web Services, where solutions architecture responsibilities involved customer needs assessment and migration discussions. Jun's earlier roles at M3, Inc. involved the development of a web-based electronic health record platform and a medical accounting system, while positions at Hatch, Inc. and GREE, Inc. included product ownership and web development responsibilities, respectively. Jun holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Information from Keio University.
