Tobias Regner

Tobias Regner is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist for Courier Analytics at Wolt since May 2024, Tobias previously worked at Delivery Hero as a Data Scientist focusing on Experimentation from August 2021 to April 2024. Prior to that role, Tobias was a Data Science Consultant at The World Bank from November 2020 to July 2021, where involvement included data analysis for a project on entrepreneurship. Tobias also held the position of Principal Investigator at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena for a research project on crowdfunding from January 2015 to October 2020, and contributed as an Associate Professor at Max-Planck-Institut Für Ökonomik between October 2008 and December 2014. Earlier academic roles included Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow, along with an Assistant Professorship at Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, and a Research Associate role at Imperial College London. Tobias obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Bristol and a Diplom-Volkswirt from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
