Tuomas Hurmerinta

Tuomas Hurmerinta serves as the Global Head of Operations & Quality at Wolt since August 2022, overseeing Delivery Operations, Support Operations, and Trust & Safety. Previously, Tuomas held the position of Global Head of Partner Retail at Wolt, managing the non-restaurant vertical encompassing groceries, pharmacies, and other sectors. Tuomas has accumulated extensive experience in leadership roles, including Head of Retail, EMEA at Shopify and various positions at Delivery Hero, including VP of Europe and Director of International Markets. Additionally, Tuomas served as a Board Member at both Alvar Pet and Hungry, and held a Director role at Rocket Internet SE. With a strong background in management consulting at Bain & Company, Tuomas specializes in industrial goods, technology, and corporate strategy. Educational achievements include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Finance from Helsinki School of Economics and further studies at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
