Bill Baker is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Wolters Kluwer. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of HR at Guardian Life from January 2007 to June 2013. There, they were a key leader in transforming the HR function and worked in various roles, including Executive Business Partner for C-level executives and talent management leader. Bill also served as the architect and executive responsible for redesigning the HR Service Delivery model, which included creating HR shared services and successfully implementing Workday. Baker began their career at Han-Padron Associates, LLP in July 1995 as an Associate Partner before moving on to Hummingbird/Open Text in February 2001, where they eventually became the Senior Director of HR for the Americas.
