Karen Abramson is currently the CEO of Wolters Kluwer, Tax & Accounting. Karen has held this position since October 2013. Prior to that, they served as the President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Tax CCH North America from September 2012 to October 2013. During their time there, they launched the first cloud-based tax compliance software in the professional accounting industry and restructured the go-to-market, sales, and software development organizations. Karen also built a center of excellence for software delivery in Pune, India.

From January 2006 to September 2012, Abramson served as the President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Health Medical Research. During their time there, they drove significant growth and profitability improvements for the world's number one medical research platform. Karen also introduced the first medical journal apps and electronic advertising with audience-based revenue models. Additionally, they introduced the Open Access publishing model to Wolters Kluwer via acquisition and organic development.

Abramson has also served as the Vice President, General Manager of Wolters Kluwer, CT Corsearch from January 2004 to December 2006 and as the Vice President, Operations of Wolters Kluwer CT Corsearch from January 2000 to December 2004. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President, Site Operations of Memberworks from January 2000 to December 2000.
