Pieter Roeloffs

SVP, Mergers & Acquisitions, Europe, Rest of World at Wolters Kluwer

Pieter Roeloffs is the Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions for Wolters Kluwer in Europe and the Rest of World. Pieter has over fifteen years of experience in corporate finance and merger & acquisitions.

Pieter began their career as an analyst at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2002, where they worked on a variety of consulting assignments for small and medium businesses. In 2005, Pieter moved to Philips, where they worked on the carve out of Philips Business Communications from Philips and contributed it to the joint venture with NEC. In addition, Pieter performed work on various business development activities together with the sales and finance teams.

In their current role at Wolters Kluwer, Pieter is responsible for leading the company’s M&A activities in Europe and the Rest of World. Pieter has played a key role in a number of Wolters Kluwer’s recent acquisitions, including the acquisition of ProVation Medical in 2018 and BridgeMedical in 2019.

Pieter Roeloffs has a degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam. After working in the Netherlands for several years, they decided to pursue an MBA at The University of British Columbia. After graduation, they worked in the financial and marketing industries in Vancouver. Pieter later took an executive course in negotiation dynamics at INSEAD.

Their manager is Nancy McKinstry, CEO & Chairman of the Executive Board. They work with Raja Sengupta - EVP & GM, ELM Solutions, Dennis Cahill - CTO, Digital eXperience Group, and Maarten Thompson - SVP, General Counsel & Company Secretary.
