Kacy Wickenhauser

Kacy Wickenhauser, SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Currently, they serve as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Wolverine Power Cooperative since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at the same company from October 2019 to November 2022, and as the Director of Human Resources from June 2019 to October 2019.

In addition to their role at Wolverine Power Cooperative, Kacy is also the Founder of KW Coaching & HR Consultancy, a boutique coaching and HR consultancy specializing in executive, career, and leadership development through private coaching and consulting. Kacy started this venture in July 2022.

Kacy is an accomplished professional in the HR field and has held significant positions in their past roles. Kacy was the Vice President of Utility Services & Human Resources at Corn Belt Energy Corporation from November 2016 to June 2019, and prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at the same company from January 2010 to November 2016. In this role, they were responsible for various HR functions such as benefits administration, workforce planning, performance coaching, conflict resolution, labor and employee relations, compliance, employment law, worker's compensation, and unemployment claims management.

Before joining Corn Belt Energy Corporation, Kacy worked as an HR Supervisor at RR Donnelley from August 2007 to January 2010 and as the Director of On-sites at Staffmark from May 2006 to August 2007.

Additionally, Kacy is a Founding Member of Hacking HR's Experts Council, starting from September 2022.

Kacy Wickenhauser, SPHR, holds an MBA with a Human Resource concentration from the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University, which was completed from 2007 to 2009. Kacy also obtained a B.S. in Psychology from Indiana State University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Kacy has earned several certifications, including SHRM-CP from SHRM in October 2018, NRECA Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program (MIP) from NRECA in April 2017, SPHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in September 2015, and PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2010. Recently, they received additional certifications such as Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) from iPEC Coaching in July 2022, Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from iPEC Coaching in January 2023, and ICF Member Badge from International Coaching Federation in January 2023.
