Bruce Pier

Bruce Pier has extensive work experience in the medical field. Starting in 2004, they worked as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at Madigan Army Medical Center until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they served as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Reynolds Army Community Hospital. Bruce then moved on to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they specialized in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility from 2013 to 2016. Following that, they worked in the same field at Tripler Army Medical Center from 2016 to 2019. At Madigan Army Medical Center, they took on the role of Division Chief and Director of Resident Research from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are the Residency Program Director for Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetrics at Womack Army Medical Center.

Bruce Pier completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke from 2002 to 2004. Bruce then obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Uniformed Services University, although the start year of this program is not mentioned. Following that, they pursued an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Madigan Army Medical Center from 2008 to 2012. Lastly, Bruce Pier completed a Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2013 to 2016.
