Kate Rooney Thomson

Kate Rooney Thomson has a strong background in attorney recruiting and legal administration. Kate is currently the Director of Lateral Attorney Recruiting at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP, a position they have held since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Director and Attorney Recruiting Manager at the same firm. From 2004 to 2014, Kate worked at Bingham McCutchen, where they held various roles in legal recruiting and attorney development. Additionally, they served on the Board of Directors for the Washington Area Legal Recruitment Administrators Association (WALRAA) from 2013 to 2014. Before transitioning into the legal field, Kate worked as a Sales Manager at Hard Rock Cafe from 2003 to 2004.

Kate Rooney Thomson attended The Catholic University of America from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies.
