The Women & Infants Research Foundation is one of Australia’s leading independent research institutes dedicated to improving the health of women and infants.



We have a proud 40-year history of scientific discovery and public health achievement, and continue to conduct research into areas of women's and infants'​ health most important to our community.

We are closely affiliated with King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), and the School of Women's and Infants'​ Health at The University of Western Australia. WIRF is also the charity of KEMH.
