Carol Gordon

In 2015, after 25 years as a senior bank executive, Carol launched her management consulting firm, Carol Gordon Consulting in Rhinebeck, NY and Vero Beach, FL. In her relationship-driven company, Carol uses her years of knowledge in human resources and operations to advise business executives on complex employment issues. She also provides executive coaching, leadership development, and career transition services. One of her specialties is coaching new Executive Directors, serving as change agents, through board relations dynamics.Carol is passionate about developing women leaders. She played a key role in creating and launching the DCRCOC Women’s Leadership Alliance mentor program that still thrives today. Due to her experience and work with small businesses on harassment issues, she has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, and Business News Daily. She also has been called as an expert witness in small business training matters. The firm has earned certification as a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in New York and New York City. Carol is a certified coach and has a master’s degree in management with graduate certification in Organizational Development. Over the years, Carol has received awards for her leadership and mentoring roles, including the 2010 Athena Leadership Award, the 2018 Hudson Valley Magazine Women in Business Entrepreneurial Award, and the Dutchess Community College 2019 Community Leadership Award.
