Thomasina Williams

Thomasina helps families and individuals navigate the family side of wealth, which consists of the invisible relationship systems that result from combining family and finances.

She works with family members to develop the insights, confidence, and skills to strengthen their resilience, resolve, and family relationships. This enables them to talk candidly about what really matters, make difficult personal, family, and business decisions, and overcome life’s inevitable challenges to building a capable and connected family with a legacy of generational success.

She was the first consultant hired by Wells Fargo Private Bank to go in-house and play a leadership role in building a new internal group to support its ultra-high net worth clients in navigating the family side of wealth.

Prior to her work with families, Thomasina practiced law in Miami, Florida for nearly 20 years, where she became a partner in one of the largest law firms in the state in three years. She then spent six years in New York City serving as a philanthropic strategist at the Ford Foundation.

Her family’s lived experience fuels Thomasina’s passion for helping families avoid the fracturing of family relationships and the loss of wealth that defines the “shirtsleeves-to-shirtsleeves-in- three generations” proverb.

She is a member of the Purposeful Planning Institute, where she serves on its Advisory Board; the Galliard Family Business Advisor Institute, where she serves on its Board; and The Florida Bar. Additionally, Thomasina serves on the Advisory Council of the Women Business Collaborative, and on the Advisory Board of Enterprising Women magazine.
