Melanie Combs-Dyer

Melanie Combs-Dyer is an experienced professional in health care compliance and interoperability, currently serving as the Owner of Combs-Dyer Consulting since November 2019, specializing in FHIR standards to alleviate provider burdens. Melanie is also a member of Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation as of January 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Innovation at Mettle Solutions from March 2020 to September 2023 and extensive service at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services from March 1989 to January 2020, where responsibilities encompassed senior advisory roles in interoperability and provider compliance, notably overseeing various programs including the Medicare Fee-For-Service Documentation Requirement Lookup Service and the Electronic Submission of Medical Documentation system. Melanie holds a Master of Science in Health Administration from Towson University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing.
