Melissa Meyer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the cannabis and healthcare sectors. As the New York Chair of Women Grow since March 2015, Melissa has helped build the largest entrepreneurial network in the cannabis industry, engaging over 50 professionals monthly. In January 2015, Melissa founded HealthMJ, a platform aimed at assisting medical patients in integrating cannabis into their healthcare strategies. Previous roles include Business Development Manager at Logic9s, LLC, where cloud-based software solutions for financial professionals were developed, and entrepreneurship at WorkIt & Heroin Chic. Melissa has also held positions as a Summer Associate at Jones Day and as a Legal and Executive Assistant at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. Melissa holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Political Science, Environmental Studies, and Philosophy from The George Washington University.
