Elham Afshari

Elham Afshari is an experienced professional with a strong background in research and development in the field of materials engineering. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University since September 2021 and as a Women in 3D Printing Ambassador since July 2022, Elham has also held positions as a Business Strategy Intern at Lab2Market in 2024 and as a Research and Development Manager at PRRC from October 2016 to June 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research and Development Scientist and Research and Development Scientist at the Persian Resources Research Center from March 2010 to October 2016. Elham holds a PhD in Materials Engineering and Science from the University of Tehran, a Master's degree in Metal Forming from Sharif University of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from the same institution.
