Maleeha Q. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Currently, they serve as an Assistant Director of Data Science-Machine Learning Innovation at Liberty Mutual Insurance since November 2022. Prior to that, Maleeha founded and directed the Women in Big Data Midwest Region & Wisconsin Chapter, where they focused on attracting diverse talent to the field of Big Data and Analytics. Maleeha also worked as a Data Scientist at American Family Insurance from October 2018 to November 2022 and as a Research and Analytics Modeler - Machine Learning from February 2015 to October 2018. Maleeha's earlier experience includes working as a Sr. Software Engineer at Siemens Medical Solutions from September 2004 to January 2015. Maleeha gained teaching and research experience at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they served as a Teaching Assistant from August 1999 to December 2001, a Research Assistant from January 2002 to December 2003, and a Teaching Assistant again from January 2004 to August 2004. Maleeha began their career as an Intern at Electrotechnical Laboratory from May 2000 to August 2000 and as a Java Programmer at the University of Virginia from May 1998 to December 1999.

Maleeha Q. has a strong academic background in Computer Science and Mathematics. Maleeha completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Virginia from 1995 to 1999. Maleeha further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1999 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Maleeha has also obtained several certifications that enhance their skills and knowledge in the field.
