Neil Metzler

Neil brings 10+ years of sales and business development experience to WiBD. As a Key Account Manager at AWS cloud, he negotiated competitive, multi-year contracts with Series A+ startup founders, CXO, Chair and investor stakeholders.

As a sales leader, Neil grew new international sales teams in Seattle, London and Berlin. Recognizing employee engagement and attrition challenges, he created career development initiatives, tools and events for 200 employees from fresh graduates to senior directors. Amazon recognized these efforts in a report to then CEO and Founder, Jeff Bezos.

Neil is currently Founder & Principal Advisor at Cloud Champions LLC. He provides career coaching for individuals and workshops for startups on fundraising and DE&I allyship. Prior to his ten year career at Amazon, Neil was based in Beijing as a research analyst for financial services and hedge funds. He received his BA in International Relations from Tufts University, and holds two technical certifications from AWS in Big Data Analytics and Solutions Architecture.
