Claudia Merhej

Claudia Merhej is an experienced professional in the arts and events sector, currently serving as the Head of Awards, Events and Partnerships at Women in Film and Television UK since February 2021, after holding the position of Senior Awards and Events Producer. Prior roles include Activities and Events Manager at University of East London Students' Union, Programmer for Talks and Events at the National Theatre, and Senior Programmer for the WOW - Women of the World Festival with The WOW Foundation. Claudia's extensive experience at Southbank Centre included various roles related to programming and administration in connection with the WOW Festival. Additionally, Claudia's earlier career featured positions at JAMES HYMAN FINE ART LIMITED, Dia Art Foundation, and internships at the Courtauld Institute of Art and Seventeen Gallery. Claudia holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in History of Art from The Courtauld Institute of Art.
