Women in Games
Fran Solo is a Senior Software Developer at Amdaris since June 2024 and the Bristol Co-organiser for codebar since July 2022, facilitating coding workshops for underrepresented groups in tech. In addition, Fran serves as an Ambassador for Women in Games since July 2023 and previously worked as a Senior Front-End Developer at Stornaway.io Interactive Storytelling. Fran's career also includes a role as a Front End Developer at Zone, where clients included Genomics England and BMW Group, and as a Web Designer at Nisbets, contributing to e-commerce web initiatives. Additional experience includes UI Design and Development at Eysys, performing as Soprano 1 with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and completing a placement as a UI/UX Designer at TopCashback UK. Fran holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing, Web Development from Staffordshire University.
