Diana Vilela Breda is an accomplished health professional with extensive experience in public health and hospital management. Currently serving as a member of the Regional Mental Health Council at the Ministério da Saúde de Portugal since April 2022, Diana also holds the position of President of the Board of Directors at Hospital Arcebispo João Crisótomo since April 2020 and is a co-founder of Women in Global Health Portugal since July 2019. Diana's previous roles include scientific coordination of the "Noites Saudáveis das Cidades do Centro de Portugal" project at CHUC, European Reference Networks Coordinator for the European Commission, and Executive Managing Director at the World Health Summit. Notable prior positions include International Director at Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra and advisor to the Minister of Health. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate degree in Law from Universidade de Coimbra and a recent degree in Leadership Healthcare Delivery in a New Era from Nova School of Business and Economics.
