Pragya Chaube currently serves as the India Coordinator to the UNESCO Chair at PRIA India since August 2023 and has been involved with UNESCO as an IPL Expert in the Inclusive Policy Lab since 2021. Additional roles include membership at Women in Global Health and previous positions at DST Centre for Policy Research - IISc Bangalore as a Project Scientist and Senior Project Associate. Pragya has experience as a Science Writer and Translator at Research Matters, a Launch Event Manager for Pint of Science, and roles at The University of Sheffield, including Doctoral Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Public speaking engagement includes participation with Soapbox Science, while earlier experience encompasses an internship with Wildlife Trust of India, contributing to the National Action Plan for bear conservation, and an undergraduate research role at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research. Academic achievements include a PhD in Evolutionary Genetics and an MS in Human and Molecular Genetics from The University of Sheffield, along with ongoing studies at the University of Helsinki.
