Karina Strobl

Karina Strobl is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in account management and sales, currently serving as a Mentor in the Women in Localization Mentoring Program since January 2020. From January 2022 to June 2023, Karina held the position of VP of Strategic Accounts at Unbabel, where responsibilities included spearheading strategic account management initiatives and fostering long-term client relationships. Prior to Unbabel, Karina was with Lingo24 from September 2007 to December 2021, advancing to the role of Senior Global Enterprise Account Executive/Director, leading global account management and the end-to-end sales lifecycle. Earlier career achievements include serving as Lead Sales Manager and Deputy Sales Manager, overseeing a team of over 25 sales professionals, and identifying and developing new business opportunities as a Business Development Executive. Karina's experience also includes a role as Regional Manager at Orange from 2003 to 2006, where contributions involved setting up new offices and training new teams. Karina holds an Engineer's Degree in Telecommunication from Polytechnic University Timisoara, earned between 1998 and 2003.
