Katie Beth Dowell has a diverse and extensive work experience. Katie Beth has worked as a Label Intern at RUN FOR COVER RECORDS LLC starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Northeastern University, starting in 2023. Katie also held leadership positions at Women in Music, serving as Co-President and Treasurer at the Northeastern chapter in 2023 and 2022 respectively. Katie Beth gained experience in the music industry as a Radio Show Host at WRBB 104.9FM in 2022 and as an A&R Intern at Pulse Music Group in the same year. Additionally, Katie has worked as a Management Intern at Good Harbor and as a Booking Assistant at #iVoted Festival in 2022. In 2021, they served as a Campus Representative at Quadio and as the Engagement and Recruitment Chair at Live Music Association. Katie's earliest work experience dates back to 2019 when they worked as an Event Coordinator at NXTWAVE Music Group, LLC, where they stayed until 2021.

Women in Music
Women in Music is a dynamic group of individuals in music working together to support, cultivate and recognize the talents of women in our field. Through educational seminars, panels, networking events, showcases, our annual Touchstone Awards, and other gala events, we provide camaraderie and tools for advancement to hundreds of members at all stages of their careers. Founded in 1985, Women in Music is now in its third decade of service to the music community. Our members are inspired by the resources and opportunities WIM offers. We, in turn, are inspired by their wonderful achievements and contributions across all areas of the music industry. WIM Mission Statement: Women In Music is an organization with a mission to advance the awareness, equality, diversity, heritage, opportunities, and cultural aspects of women in the musical arts through education, support, empowerment, and recognition. Our seminars, panels, showcases, achievement awards, and youth initiatives celebrate the female contribution to the music world, and strengthens community ties.
