Payal Patel is an experienced professional in risk and compliance, currently serving as VP, APAC Risk & Compliance and MLRO at Circle since February 2022. In addition, Payal serves as an ASEAN Awards Committee Member for Women in Payments since July 2022 and is a Venture Partner at Antler, a startup generator, since January 2019. Previous roles include Chief Compliance Officer for APAC at BitGo, Managing Director at FINTRAIL, and Founder of P-Squared, a FinCrime compliance consultancy acquired by FINTRAIL. Payal has also held senior compliance positions at Standard Chartered Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Citi, and Royal Bank of Scotland. Payal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
