Chochanmyei Oo has a diverse range of work experience starting in 2016 as a Risk Compliance Officer at AYA Bank. Chochanmyei then worked as an Enterprise Risk Manager at Telenor in 2017 and as a Course Instructor at Matrix Institute of Professionals in 2018. In the same year, they co-founded a company called Khayah, where they served as the Co-Founder and Product Owner, overseeing the creation and development of an app focused on women's safety.

In 2019, Chochanmyei joined KBZ Bank as a Product Manager, where they played a crucial role in various projects, including launching the first real-time other bank transfer products and managing payment and transfer products. Chochanmyei also served as the Head of Operational and Technology Risk at KBZ Bank before leaving in 2021.

In 2022, Chochanmyei joined MatchMove as a Product Manager before transitioning to Women In Product as the Head of Partnerships, Events & Community. Chochanmyei is currently a Podcaster for the Women In Product Singapore Podcast. Additionally, they have also been a Researcher at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. Chochanmyei Oo completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Utica University from 2010 to 2014. In 2018-2019, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Law at Yangon University of Distance Education. Currently, they are studying for a Master of Science (MS) in Design Management at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, starting from 2021. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including courses in Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Product Management, UX Design, and Social-Behavioral-Educational Researchers.
