Mary Carol Alexander is a board member at Women In Technology and a former regional sales director at Qlik. Mary has also worked for Microsoft and the Metro Atlanta Chamber.
Alexander began their career in technology sales at Microsoft, where they were responsible for sales revenue, forecasting, sales planning, territory management and recruitment across the Southeast states. Mary then built a top, high-performing sales team and recruited some of the best talent in the technology market as regional sales director at Qlik.
Under their leadership, Qlik's flagship QlikView product delivered instant business answers, enabling users to easily explore their data without limits. Unlike traditional BI, QlikView delivered immediate value with payback measured in days or weeks rather than months, years, or not at all. It was the only BI offering that could be deployed on premise, in the cloud, or on a laptop or mobile device—from a single user to the largest global enterprise.
Alexander is a passionate advocate for women in technology and has been a board member at Women In Technology since 2014. Mary is dedicated to helping women enter and succeed in the tech industry and is committed to increasing the representation of women in leadership roles in the tech sector.
Mary Carol Alexander has a bachelor's degree in psychology and political science from Bradley University, where they graduated magna cum laude. Mary also has a Professional Education Certificate in Global Account Management from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
