Women Leading Ed
Dr. Margaret Crespo currently serves as Superintendent in Residence at Women Leading Ed, a position held since August 2023. Previous roles include Superintendent at Laramie County School District #1 from July 2021 to August 2023 and Area Superintendent at Boulder Valley School District from July 2018 to August 2021. Dr. Crespo has also held significant positions at Thompson School District as Chief Academic Officer and Executive Director of Secondary Services, President of Indigo Mountain Ranch, Principal at Greeley Public Schools, Principal and Assistant Principal at Dysart Unified School District, and Teacher at Jersey City Public Schools. Educational qualifications include an Ed.D in Administration and School Leadership from Arizona State University, an MA in Counseling from Montclair State University, and a BA in History and Education from Montclair State University.

Women Leading Ed is an ever-expanding national nonprofit network for women superintendents and those who aspire to land the top CEO roles in districts and states. In partnership with current and former superintendents, we’re working to grow and strengthen the pipeline of future leaders through cohort-based leadership training programs and intentional network building.
