Rooshana Purnyn currently serves as the Director of Data Architecture and Platform Engineering at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, a position held since October 2011, where responsibilities include designing and implementing the Enterprise Data Platform on AWS cloud. With a rich background in data architecture, Rooshana successfully managed the Hyatt Analytics Platform project and its integration with on-premises data centers. Additionally, Rooshana holds the position of DB2 Consultant and is a member of the Women Leading Travel & Hospitality organization since December 2023, as well as an Executive Committee Member of the International LEAP Network since January 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Database/Data Warehouse Consultant at Zurich Financial Services Australia and a Data Warehouse DBA at HSBC. Rooshana began a career in database management as a Database Administrator at Spins and a Lead Application DBA at Health Care Service Corporation. Rooshana earned a Master of Science in Human Biology from Kazan State University.
