Emma Korein is currently serving as a Senate Energy Policy Fellow for the Delaware Senate Environment, Energy, and Transportation Committee, where support is provided to Senator Stephanie Hansen in energy policy research and development. Emma is also a WRISE Wind Power Fellow, gaining experience in the wind power industry, and serves as the Climate Fellows Graduate Student Leader at the University of Delaware, where leadership is provided for climate initiatives and the development of the university's first Climate Research Conference. Emma's academic research focuses on the social justice aspects of offshore wind farm management, and past roles include Coral Reef Management Fellow in Puerto Rico and Principal Investigator for wildlife conservation programs in Costa Rica. Emma's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Marine Policy from the University of Delaware and a Master of Science in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter.
