WOCAN’s invests in building capacities and forums for women’s organizations which has enabled women farmers and professionals to obtain new resources to improve their livelihoods and well-beingWOCAN has trained and mentored women farmers and professionals - as well as the men who support them - to accelerate transformational change within communities and institutions. WOCAN developed the award-winning W+ Standard (www.wplus.org) to measure, quantify and monetize results of women's empowerment initiatives at the community or project level as a results-based finance approach.
