Nazreen Nizam

Nazreen Nizam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender advocacy and capacity building. As the Capacity Building Director at Women's Aid Organisation since October 2019, Nazreen leads initiatives to empower communities against gender-based violence and promote gender equality. Previously, Nazreen held various roles including Capacity Building Coordinator and Managing Director and Producer at The Paradox Studio, a video production company, in addition to being a co-founder of Dapur Jalanan Kuala Lumpur. Nazreen's artistry as a visual artist and expertise in training and research on gender issues complement a robust educational background, including a Bachelor of Laws from University of Malaya and ongoing Master's degree in Gender Studies.
