Women's Centre of Calgary
Rinad Al Adani currently serves as the Team Lead for Community Support at the Women's Centre of Calgary and as a Helpline Counsellor for FearIsNotLove. Since November 2021, Rinad has held the position of Co-Chair of the Anti Racism Action Committee with the City of Calgary, focusing on community-based anti-racism strategy development and stakeholder engagement. Previously, Rinad worked as a Contact Centre Coordinator and Community Resource Specialist at Distress Centre Calgary, where responsibilities included supervising volunteers and coordinating safety follow-up for high-risk contacts. Additional experience includes a role as a Practicum Student with the Government of Alberta and positions as a Child Development Specialist and Community and Social Services Worker at BSF Heart Home Network. Rinad completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology at the University of Calgary and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work with a focus on Clinical/Medical Social Work.
