Paula Rochon is an accomplished healthcare leader with extensive experience in geriatric medicine and women's health. As the Founding Director of the Women's Age Lab at Women's College Hospital since October 2021, Paula has pioneered the first research centre dedicated to improving the lives of older women through science-driven social change. In addition to this role, Paula serves as the Advisory Board Chair for the CIHR Institute of Aging and the Deputy Editor for the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society. Paula holds the RTOERO Chair in Geriatric Medicine and is a Professor at the University of Toronto, contributing to both the Department of Medicine and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Paula's previous leadership positions include Senior Scientist and Vice President of Research at Women's College Hospital, as well as Senior Scientist at ICES. Paula's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Doctor of Medicine from McMaster University.
