Machine Learning Engineer at Womply

Maxim Lakin has extensive experience in the field of machine learning and deep learning engineering. Maxim began their career in 2008 as a Physics PhD Student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2009, they were a Researcher at the Gravitational Wave Astronomy Summer School. In 2011, they became a Graduate Fellow at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Data Engineer at Edenworks, where they developed an API written in Golang for collecting streams of data from different sources, a Django web application for monitoring key indicators, a UI & backend for users to track operations, and an API to control the greenhouse actuators like lights, cooling, and heating. During this time, they also worked as a Lead Deep Learning Engineer at AIorDie.tv. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Deep Learning Engineer at Kelvin Inc. and, most recently, they have been a Machine Learning Engineer at Womply since 2020.

Maxim Lakin attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics.
