James Watling

James Watling is an accomplished engineering manager currently with Wonderschool, where James supports the original EarlyDay product team following Wonderschool's acquisition of EarlyDay in February 2024. Previously, James served as the founding CTO of EarlyDay, leading the technological vision and product launch strategy. With advisory experience at KarmaCheck, and a history of impactful roles at various technology companies, including Hub and GuavaPass, James has been instrumental in successful funding rounds and innovative project developments. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Victoria University of Wellington and possesses extensive expertise in Ruby on Rails and various other technologies.
