Japanese agency wondertrunk transforms unknown areas of Japan into new travel destinations. The wondertrunk team works with people in regional Japan to create one-of-a-kind travel and cultural experiences. Areas of expertise include the development of new travel and cultural experiences, website creation, marketing and social media campaign planning and execution, content creation, publishing, media and influencer engagement and fam and press trip planning and management. wondertrunk offer unique and authentic experiences in Japan such as hiking with yamabushi mountain monks in the northern region of Yamagata; cycling on the Goto islands off the coast of Nagasaki; tours of the Koshu wineries in the foothills of Mt Fuji; and tailor-made tours to visit craftspeople and artisans in workshops and studios across Japan. Experiences can be booked directly with wondertrunk, but we are also happy to work with the travel trade to offer add-on experiences to their Japan holidays.
