Jenny Lower Beckman

Jenny Lower Beckman is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and editorial roles. Currently, Jenny serves as the Head of Current Series at Wondery, where Jenny has progressed through various leadership positions since April 2018, including Vice President and Director of Current Series. Prior to this, Jenny was a freelance theater critic and journalist, contributing to notable outlets such as USA Today and the California Report, and was a member of the LA Drama Critics Circle since 2015. Earlier roles included internships at KPCC and USC Annenberg Media, where Jenny received a 2017 SPJ Mark of Excellence award. Jenny also held editorial positions at SAGE Publications and Allied 360, managing multiple trade publications and winning accolades for editorial excellence. Educationally, Jenny earned a Master’s degree in Specialized Journalism from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in English from Loyola Marymount University.
