Pieter Gouws

Pieter Gouws is a skilled data scientist with experience in data analysis and loan approval processes at Wonga, where a real-time data extraction system for bank statements was developed. Prior experience includes a role at NxGN, where data-driven solutions were delivered to clients such as Anglo-American and Hollard, focusing on data migrations and dashboard creation. Before that, Pieter served as a Product Manager at MECAD Manufacturing, providing technical support for Mastercam and programming CNC machine Post Processors. As a mechanical engineer on the NWU Solar Car Team, significant contributions were made to the Sasol Solar Car Challenge and the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge. Pieter holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and additional qualifications in Business Communications and Project Management from North-West University.
