Oghenekevwe Ovbije

Oghenekevwe Ovbije is a Principal Consultant at Wood Mackenzie, starting in September 2023. Previously, Ogbije served as Vice President of the MIT People & Organization Club from October 2022 to May 2023, focusing on thought leadership in people analytics, diversity and inclusion, and the future of work. Ogbije has extensive experience at Baker Hughes from 2014 to 2022, holding roles including Product Line Manager, Project Manager, Applications Engineer, and Field Engineer, where expertise in product management, project execution, and engineering solutions was demonstrated. Prior roles include Petroleum Engineer Subsurface at Aspen Energy Ltd, Materials Engineer at Expro, Project Engineer at Aspen Energy Ltd, and Project Assistant at Shell. Ogbije has advanced academic credentials, including an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MS in Oil & Gas Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, and a BE in Chemical Engineering from Igbinedion University, Okada.
