Amanda Porter

Amanda Porter is a skilled journalist with extensive experience in news anchoring and reporting across multiple markets. Currently serving as the Weekend Evening News Anchor/Reporter for WOOD TV8 since December 2022, Amanda has previously held positions at WINK-TV as a news anchor and reporter, and WEVV-TV as a weekend anchor, producer, and reporter. Early career roles include assignment desk editor at WDJT CBS 58, and various internships at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where Amanda gained foundational skills in video production, storytelling, and social media management. Amanda holds a degree in Journalism, Advertising and Media Studies with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
