Jim Sturgis

Jim Sturgis, P.E. is a seasoned professional in civil engineering, specializing in structural design, with an extensive career at Woodard & Curran since November 1988. Throughout this tenure, Jim has advanced through various roles, culminating in positions such as Structural Discipline Leader, Associate Principal, and Vice President, as well as serving as Senior Technical Manager. Jim's education includes a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural focus, obtained from the University of Maine, following a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the same institution. Prior to becoming a full-time staff member, Jim gained valuable experience as an engineering intern at Woodard & Curran in the summer of 1987.
