Tom Jackson

Tom Jackson is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles. Since September 1997, Tom has served as the Senior Editor at WoodenBoat Magazine, where responsibilities include writing, editing, and contributing as a columnist. Prior to this, Tom co-owned Ricciardi & Jackson, LLC from September 1989 to September 1997, and held the position of News Editor at The Daily Astorian from October 1983 to September 1989. Tom's career began as Editor for The Island Record between October 1981 and October 1983, and as a Reporter/Editor at The Peninsula Gateway, part of The McClatchy Company, from 1979 to 1981. Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon in 1978.
